On March 15th, 2013 two new publications by “Citizens Watch” were presented at the St. Petersburg House of Lawyers.
- A collection of materials on “European Standards in Civil and Criminal Proceedings”
- Recommendations for the application of Article 8 of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms in the context of the Protection of Privileges
The presentation was attended by participants of the project, lawyers of the St. Petersburg and Leningrad region, the authors of the publications and the project coordinator from the Dutch side Mr. Ruth van der Pol, and a Judge of the Court of Appeals of Leeuwarden, Netherlands. The Scientific Project Manager and Vice President of the St. Petersburg Bar Association V.F. Soloviev, Chairman of the Leningrad Region Bar Association A.N. Denisova, and Chairman of “Citizens Watch B.P. Pustyntsev welcomed guests and addressed the audience. Consul General of the Netherlands in St. Petersburg, Mr. Yennes de Mol, delivered a congratulatory speech in which he highlighted the importance of the project in the year of bilateral cooperation between Russia and the Netherlands (2013).
